Community Guidelines

Great friendships and real-life experiences are transcendent, essential to life, and more valuable than money. So please create and maintain a safe community of old and new friends on >|||<, so we have established community guidelines to help you stay safe whether while using the app or meeting in person through >|||<.It is crucial that the >|||< community continuously upholds our values of being kind to one another, prioritizing real-life friendships and experiences over online ones, fostering creativity and curiosity, and maintaining an overall net positive impact. This includes leading with positivity and keeping it a safe, inclusive, and tolerant space for everyone. We strive to welcome all opinions so long as they do not violate our Community Guidelines. 

We have also provided you with two anonymous in-app reporting systems for violations of our Community Guidelines: one for a user’s profile and the other for an individual’s behavior at a >|||< event.

Your account will be terminated if you engage in any of the following behaviors on the >|||< app:

  • Break the law by:
    • Depicting or promoting violence, violent organizations, organized crime, or terrorism.
    • Depicting weapons of any kind.
    • Using hate speech or symbols.
    • Making defamatory statements.
    • Committing intellectual property infringement or violations.
    • Perpetrating fraud.
    • Committing identity theft.
    • Selling illegal goods or services.
    • Promoting or advertising sexual services.
    • Sexually exploiting minors.
    • Attempting to or succeeding in accessing other users’ accounts.
    • Attempting to interfere with or damage >|||<‘s user base, features, functions, or services.
  • Impair someone’s safety or make someone uncomfortable by:
    • Making threats to someone’s safety, health, or well-being.
    • Promoting or depicting suicidal ideation, self-harm, or eating disorders.
    • Bullying or harassing.
    • Depicting nudity, sexual activity, or lewd behavior.
    • Using or promoting drugs, drug accessories, or equipment.
    • Proselytizing.
    • Using profane, vulgar, obscene, or indecent language.
    • Disclosing private information.
  • Use >|||< for advertisements and scams:
    • Selling items or services.
    • Asking users to send you money.
    • Posting coupon codes, sales links, or referral links.
    • Phishing, spamming or sending malicious links, malware, or viruses.
  • Misrepresent yourself or your event, or misuse >||| <‘s content, data, or services:
    • Creating fake accounts.
    • Creating underage accounts.
    • Creating multiple accounts.
    • Creating fake events.
    • Creating events under pretenses.
    • Creating events at other people’s private homes or in their names at public venues without their explicit consent.
    • Obtaining or disclosing a host’s private address for purposes other than attending the host’s event.
    • Making false accusations that someone has violated >|||<‘s community guidelines.
  • Interfere with >||| <‘s reputation, image, brand, etc. by:
    • Making posts to other social media accounts in which >|||<‘s community guidelines are violated and >|||< tagged.
    • Posting your >|||< QR code to a social media account.

Your account will be terminated if you engage in any of the following behaviors at a >|||< event:

  • Break the law by:
    • Committing sexual assault.
    • Committing physical (non-sexual) assault.
    • Drugging someone.
    • Damaging property.
    • Stole property.
    • Selling or attempting to sell illegal goods or services.
    • Using illegal drugs.
    • Serving alcohol to minors.
  • Impair someone’s safety or make someone uncomfortable by:
    • Promoting violence, violent organizations, organizing crime, or terrorism.
    • Brandishing weapons of any kind.
    • Made threats to someone’s safety, health, or well-being.
    • Promoting the use of drugs.
    • Engaging in nudity, sexual activity, or lewd behavior.
    • Sexually harassing me.
    • Using hate speech about my gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, race, age, etc.
    • Bullying or verbally harassing.
    • Proselytizing.
    • Using profane, vulgar, obscene, or indecent language.
    • Admitting uninvited people.
    • Admitting underage people.
    • Admitting people with fake accounts.

Although we strive to provide a safe and secure environment for our users to interact on our app and will endeavor to respond promptly to violations of our policies, including the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, we cannot control the actions of individuals with whom you might interact, especially actions that occur outside of our app and at any in-person meetings or events. Moreover, while we reserve the right to review and remove any content that violates our Community Guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate or unlawful, we cannot guarantee that all content available on the app will be in compliance with this Agreement.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT, ACTIONS, OR INTERACTIONS BETWEEN YOU AND ANY OTHER USERS ON OR OFF OF THE APP. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS, INCLUDING ANY LOSS, INJURY, OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM SUCH INTERACTIONS. YOU ALSO UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT WE DO NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL OR ANY OTHER BACKGROUND CHECKS OF ANY USERS, NOR DO WE ATTEMPT TO VERIFY STATEMENTS PROVIDED BY USERS. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE CONDUCT OF ANY USERS. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS AND OTHER SCREENINGS OF ANY MEMBER AT ANY TIME USING PUBLICLY AVAILABLE RECORDS, AND YOU AGREE THAT ANY INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US MAY BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE.

If you become aware of content, user, or interaction that violates our Community Guidelines, please report it immediately through the app: User’s Profile Page > Three Dots > Report This Person or Hamburger Menu > Reporting > Report an Incident at an Event. If you have reason to believe you or another user is in imminent danger of harm or injury as a result of your interaction with another User, please contact your local law enforcement.
